John Wilkinson, MD
After graduating from the University of Michigan Undergraduate and Medical Schools, Dr Wilkinson spent 13.5 years in San Francisco where he completed his specialization training in Anesthesiology at the University of California San Francisco and practiced in San Francisco. His practice included participation in the Transplant teams ( Cardiac, adult and pediatric liver, kidney, and pancreas), high acuity obstetric and pediatric teams. He left San Francisco to raise his children in a smaller community.
Since joining Bend Anesthesiology Group ( BAG) , he has been fully engaged in the Central Oregon Medical Community with roles of Medical Staff President, member of Credentials Committees, PPECs (Professional Practice Evaluation Committee), and Surgical Services Committees at both St. Charles Medical Center Bend and Redmond.
He has participated in the trauma Committee meetings and within BAG has been Treasurer, Management Committee member, and participates on the Recruitment and Philanthropy Committees. His interests include learning a foreign language, Central Oregon Health Care and his family.
