Walter "Bud" Fetterley, CRNA
Bud Fetterley was born in the Midwest and did factory work until he was about 30, when he was laid off. He decided, since times were likely to be tight anyway, that he might as well become a college student and train at the University of Minnesota for a new career in nursing. After graduation, he worked for 6 years in the solid organ transplant unit at Fairview University Medical Center. During that time, he got married and his wife kindly offered to support him in advancing his career by training in anesthesia and getting his Masters degree. He worked at two large medical centers over the first 7 years of his anesthesia career and then did locum tenens work for another 7 years. Bud has been working at St Charles in Madras for 7 years, and calls it a wonderful place to work, where the crew is truly like family.
