Scott Bunker, DO


Dr. Scott Bunker graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Brigham Young University. As an undergraduate he participated on the 1999 and 2001 NCAA Division I Indoor Men’s Volleyball National Championship teams and was selected to two All-American Teams as well. Between his undergraduate and medical school years he competed with the USA Men’s Indoor Volleyball National Team at the World Championships, Pan-American Games, and other domestic and foreign tours. He also played professional volleyball in Poland and Austria before receiving his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University. Following completion of an internship and anesthesiology residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, D.C. and Bethesda, MD, he served as an active-duty anesthesiologist for the United States Army in El Paso, TX. A board-certified physician, Dr. Bunker joined Bend Anesthesiology Group in 2016 and is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiology (ASA). He also continues to work as an anesthesiologist in the US Army Reserves. Dr. Bunker is the Medical Director of the St Charles Health System Presurgery Clinic and Perioperative Home, with an aspiration to contribute to the wellness of our community.
