Janice Kim, M.D.

Dr. Janice Kim grew up in Seattle, Washington. She obtained a BSE in bioengineering and a BS in biochemistry from the University of Washington before graduating with honors with her medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine. Following medical school, she completed her internship at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah, and her anesthesiology residency at Oregon Health Sciences University. She then moved to Denver, Colorado, to complete a fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology at Children’s Hospital Colorado. She also obtained training in medical acupuncture through the Helms Medical Institute.

Dr. Kim is board certified in both Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology. Prior to joining Bend Anesthesiology Group, Dr. Kim was a faculty anesthesiologist at Children’s Hospital Colorado and the University of Colorado, was a partner in Oregon Anesthesiology Group, and worked with Physician Anesthesiologists of the Motor City in Michigan. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and exploring the great outdoors through hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, and skiing.
